• Hitt. hink-, haink- 'bow' (EDHIL: 268ff., HED 3: 292ff.). Both Puhvel and Kloekhorst argue that hink- 'bow' is root-related to hink- 'offer', assuming the semantical development 'to offer oneself' (mid.) > 'to bow'.
