Cf. *ghsen-u̯o- 'guest, stranger, host, *ghos-ti- 'guest, stranger, host' (see *ghes). Watkins (2011: 32) analyses *ghs-en-u̯o- was a stem derived from *ghes-. However the -en- suffix remains unexplained and is a subject of comparison to extended roots. |
