• Hitt. ie- / (i)ya- 'do', 'make' (HED 1/2: 335ff.). Kloekhorst (EDHIL: 381f.) argues that Hitt. ie/a-, CLuw. ā(ia)-, HLuw. á(ia)- and Lyc. a- 'do', 'make' cannot go back to the root *Hieh1- and instead to back to *HH-ie/o- tha t does not have known cognates outside Anatolian.
