• Hitt. hallanna- 'trample', 'trample down', 'flatten' (EDHIL: 271f.); 'lay waste', 'ruin' (HED 3: 13f.). The translation in EDHIL is correct, while the one in HED seems to be influenced by the Greek cognates. The stem hallanna/i- contains a nasal infix and an imperfective suffix -anna/i-.
